сущ.фин., страх. тонтина (аннуитетная схема с несколькими участниками, при которой после смерти какого-л. из участников величина выплат остальным участникам увеличивается и последний оставшийся в живых участник получает полный доход, выступая в роли своего рода наследника аннуитетных выплат других участников; название образовано от имени неаполитанского банкира Лоренцо Тонти (Lorenzo Tonti), который в 1648 г. предложил французскому правительству использовать подобную схему при организации государственного займа; по предложенной им схеме заем под фиксированный процент размещался среди группы подписчиков, ежегодные процентные выплаты распределялись среди участников группы, в случае смерти участника группы его доля распределялась среди других участников, последний оставшийся в живых участник получал полные выплаты, а после смерти последнего участника обязательства государства прекращались и соответствующая часть займа погашалась; эта схема реализовывалась во Франции с 1653 г.; впоследствии подобные схемы использовались в Великобритании и США для финансирования жилищного строительства, но потом были запрещены)See:

тонтин: 1) разновидность займа, изобретенная неаполитанским банкиром Л. Тонти в 1853 г.; заем предоставляется под фиксированный процент ограниченной группой людей, а смерть участников увеличивает доход оставшихся (последний оставшийся в живых получает за всех); 2) пенсионный фонд, в который делают вклады несколько человек, а выплаты достаются тем, кто пережил других.
